The Challenge

The app was built for the Kenyan market, where internet connection is very poor and therefore extremely slow. So, the challenge was building an optimized app with thousands of visits per minute that would work efficiently despite the weak internet connection.

To solve this problem we used data caches, and we did lots of testing. The problem itself was not challenging as much as it was grueling, but our solution enabled the app to work flawlessly at peak time, without crashing.
